ESPN 950 & Sports FM 100.5 in Richmond, VA (Aug. 1, 2014)

Mike Richman and George Wallace of WTOP radio in D.C. join Chris Russell, host of "Skins Beat" on ESPN 950 and Sports FM 100.5 in Richmond, Va., for a discussion at Redskins training camp at the Bon Secours facility in Richmond on Aug. 1, 2014. Mike compared his visit to Bon Secours in 2013 with that of 2014, saying the major difference is the "media circus" that existed in 2013 involving the uncertainty about Robert Griffin III starting at QB.  He also shared his initial thoughts on first-year head coach Jay Gruden, comparing his hiring to that of Joe Gibbs, who, like Gruden, was an offensive coordinator with the Chargers before arriving in 1981.  Mike mentions that Gibbs started 0-5 in 1981, and that it's possible Gruden could also get off to a slow start.  Chris Russell's primary professional role is Redskins beat reporter for ESPN 980 in the D.C. area.
