Five myths about the Redskins116.77 KB

In this article for the Sunday Outlook section in The Washington Post, Mike Richman debunks five myths about the Redskins.  The article ran a few days after the Redskins' 28-14 season-opening win over the Giants on Sept. 11, 2011.  These are the myths:

-- Get rid of Dan Snyder, and all will be well.

-- It will never be as good as the Gibbs era.

-- President Richard Nixon called a play during a 1971 playoff game.

-- The Cowboys remain the Redskins' biggest rival.

-- Rex Grossman can't lead this team to the playoffs.
