Redskins History: Chuck Drazenovich

EXCERPT:

There's a reason Penn State is dubbed "Linebacker U." In the Redskins case, the school has produced great linebackers such as current phenom LaVar Arrington, Andre Collins and Matt Millen of the Super Bowl-winning squad in 1991, and Rich Milot of two Super Bowl championship teams in the 1980s.

Years ago another Penn State linebacker made his presence known in Washington and throughout the NFL, racking up a litany of decorations in the process. Chuck Drazenovich played 10 seasons for the Redskins from 1950 to 1959, earning four trips to the Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro honors over three seasons. He was voted the Redskins Most Valuable Redskins player in 1957.
