NFL Films

NFL Films, the historical broadcast arm of the National Football League, interviewed Mike for a two-hour DVD on Redskins history that spans the origin of the team in 1932 to the present. The program elaborates on the franchise's two glory periods and five championship seasons, as well as the its low points, and delves into the careers of Redskin luminaries and peripheral figures who've been key to the organization. Some of Mike's comments have appeared on the NFL Network's "Top Ten" in categories such as greatest receiving trios (Redskins Charley Taylor, Jerry Smith and Bobby Mitchell in the 1960s) and top motivational coaches (the Redskins' George Allen in the 1970s).
